Why We Offer This:

One of the founders of Echappe worked in triathlon shops and witnessed how many bikes return from competition absolutely filthy.  For this reason, Echappe now offers a cleaning service at select triathlon events for a nominal fee. This service is a general cleaning and chain lubrication that keeps bikes and athletes happy. This cleaning service is complimentary with a wheelset rental during these select events.

How It Works:

1. Athletes reserve a cleaning either at Echappeonline.com or from a predetermined method via the promoter.

2. Payment is made easy with Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Paypal and C.O.D. options.

3. Echappe finds your bike in transition while you are running. We will clean the bike as you have requested (see the three levels of cleaning below) and make sure your equipment is in proper working order.

4. Echappe will finish cleaning your bike before you are back to transition to retrieve your stuff after the event.

5. Athletes go home happy knowing their bike has been cleaned and they will not have to deal with the hassle of cleaning it once they are home.

Basic Cleaning - $35

Sprint, Olympic and other multisport events can make use of the basic cleaning service.

• Full wash down with mild soapy solution.
• Scrub the frame, handlebars and wheels down to get rid of all the gatorade and debris from the bike.
• The bike is returned to the spot in transition from where it was picked up.

This service does NOT include performing tasks that are beyond a basic cleaning of the bike.

Comprehensive Cleaning - $55

• (Race only) Picking up the bike from the transition zone. Racers do not have to worry about us finding them or the logistics of their bike getting to our cleaning area.
• A full wash down with mild soapy solution is done. We scrub the frame, handlebars and wheels to eliminate all the gatorade and debris from the bike.
• The chain is cleaned and re-lubed to make sure the gears shift smoothly.
• F/R Deraillieur adjustment.
• Tire Check. (replacement of equipment is not included in the cost of this.)
• OPTIONAL: Complete Cable and housing replacement: add $35
