FAQs about the Shop Affiliate Program
Why wouldn't we (the bike shop) just start our own demo program?
Simply put, you always have an exit from the program should you find it doesn't work for you. We are confident that it does work well for shops, but should it out weigh your expenses you're not saddled with 20 sets of used wheels in your inventory.
Additionally, you can switch your demo wheels every month, so your demo program can reflect the current cycling/triathlon focus in the area (road vs. cyclocross or track, for example). We provide the equipment that your customers want, ready to race.
What does Echappe Equipment offer a shop besides demo wheels?
New customers, additional sales, more advertising and the ability to offer a service to local customers that can make final sales of your own wheel inventory easier.
How do the "books" work between us? Is Echappe looking at our weekly sales?
No. If you are a Comprehensive Affiliaite there is complete separation between our books and yours. For more information, please download the PDF file. If you are a Basic Affiliate rentals are placed through Echappe, so we will provide you with the commission stipend.
What happens if the wheels are crashed?
Send the wheel back to Echappe so we can process the replacement. If the customer purchased our crash insurance, neither you or they are not responsible for the cost of replacement.
